Zach Sobiech Dies I came across this music video quite a while ago and was instantly intrigued by how great the song was and the message that was trying to be conveyed. The writer of this song, Zach Sobiech was a 14 year old young man when he was diagnosed with a form of cancer called osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that mostly strikes children. Sadly, Zach passed away on the morning of May 20th 2013 surrounded by family and friends; he was only 18 years old. Read more... Add new comment
WINDHAND: Complete New Album
In 2012, backwoods psychedelic doom band Windhand released their self-titled LP & it was met with critical acclaim.The band is putting the finishing touches on their second LP for Relapse, due out this fall, which was recorded & mixed by the band's own Garrett Morris at The Darkroom & mastered by James Plotkin, in their hometown of Richmond, VA. The band will trek across North America this summer ushering their audiences into their menacing grooves & showcasing songs from their upcoming album. |
Benefit for Micah Creed
Micah is only 7 yrs old. He was diagnosed with Atypical Teratiod Rhapdiod Tumor. ATRT is a rare brain tumor. Young Micah has undergone chemo & radiation treatments & although he is in remission, he now has many complications. He doesn't walk, talk or even eat on his own. We are coming together to raise money for his medical expenses incurred due to this horrible disease that has effected little Micah. We will have an auction and raffle with many items donated from various national acts. The line up for this... event.
